Approximately 75 projectiles that were fired by the Hezbollah terrorist organization have crossed from Lebanon into Israel today

**Israel - October 18, 2024**

As of 19:45 today (Friday, October 18th), approximately 75 projectiles fired by the Hezbollah terrorist organization from Lebanon have entered Israeli territory. Earlier, two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) approaching Israel from Lebanon were intercepted by the Israeli Air Force (IAF) before crossing into Israeli airspace.

IDF troops are conducting localized, targeted raids in southern Lebanon, focusing on Hezbollah terror targets and infrastructure. Over the past day, around 60 Hezbollah terrorists have been eliminated through a combination of airstrikes and close-quarter encounters on the ground. 

During these operations, IDF forces uncovered and dismantled rockets and other weapons in areas used to launch projectiles into Israel. Additionally, anti-tank missile launchers, rockets, and military equipment stored in a weapons facility in southern Lebanon were located and neutralized.

In recent hours, the IAF has struck numerous launch sites aimed at Israeli territory, as well as Hezbollah infrastructure, command centers, and operatives. The IDF also found and dismantled a significant cache of weapons, including explosives, mortars, landmines, RPGs, and other military equipment during their operations.
